Labor Theatre

Alva’s Health Centre Welcomes female patients in the Out-patient Clinic located on the 1st Floor. At Alva’s Health Centre our specially designed Labour room provides a relaxing and personal place for you to labour and give birth. You will remain in this room until your baby is born.
Hospital Welcomes female patients in the Out-patient Clinic located on the 1st Floor. At Hospital our specially designed Labour room provides a relaxing and personal place for you to labour and give birth. You will remain in this room until your baby is born. you may have a Labour Room attendants, Female Medical officer and Gynecologist during your labour and birth. Material Risks involved in the case shall be explained by the Gynecologist, Chief Medical Officer or Anesthetist. If you need to give birth by a Cesarean or Normal delivery, You will be required to sign an informed Consent Form along with your immediate family member to co-sign it. A CTG and other preoperative tests are required in the pre birth phase. And Pre/Post operative phase an Ultrasound may be required to make assessment of the condition of the mother.

The Labour Room is equipped with all necessary equipments and supplies that the laboring patient may require to include: operating lights, Delivery beds, Oxygen and air supply, Crash cot with complete range of medications, multiparameter Patient monitors, CTG for single and Twin babies, Portable Ultrasound for preoperative and post operative scan, All necessary Instruments & Trays and supplies, Baby warmers etc.

The Chief Medical Officer acts as the coordination Incharge of the labour Room and Operating theatres. The team of Surgeons, gynecologists and interventionists coordinate with CMO and OT Incharge for daily procedures who organizes the surgical team for each theatre.
